So I came across this video in a post on this blog. I couldn’t help but return to how well we have it in this country and how we feel as though we are entitled to more. I am in a weird place in my life right now where most would classify me as an adult (some may not) and yet I am not a parent. The new year and a new direction
So when the new year rolls around, it is always a good time for reflection. For myself, I am really hoping that this next year is a great time of rediscovery of God’s truth in my life. I am planning on being mentored / led personally for one of the first times and it is exciting. I have always been the pastor’s kid / person who knew the Bible so therefore it has been assumed that I knew how “God worked”. But more and more, I find that I am like Nicodemus who though a Pharisee and leader in the community, still approached Christ with all kinds of questions and willingness to believe.
