Will the real Christ follower please stand up? -Establishing yourself as a Christian in a moralist world without looking like a hypocrit

S

I mean I could take the moralist road and berate anyone around me who might stumble and fall, but then am I have lost the love of Christ and the truth because of my hypocritical actions. I could love everyone in spite of their actions, but man thats hard I live in a world that tells me to only care about me and screw everyone else. It’s hard to step away from that and remember how much Christ loves me.
I guess it all falls back to relationships and who we care for. We forget the importance of relationships in or fast paced, cell phone carrying, instant messaging, over working, over buying, keeping up with the Johnson’s world today as we rush through our jam packed lives focusing on “number one” but if our focus is outward instead of inward then we began to put the people around us who need us onto our busy time-sheet.
I mean if Christ could find time for 12 cant I find time for 1 or 2?

    Fractured One,
That is exactly the way to do it, imho. One or two at a time, giving yourself away, fighting the urges to get get get.
I look forward to reading more.

What do you do with the frustration of not seeing progress? Or hearing the person complain about their current state and then when you offer them advice they don’t want to act on anything to change it?
